Department of Anaesthesia

The main objective to teach Anesthesiology to undergraduate and postgraduate students is to give them proper understanding of various aspects and skills of Anesthesiology.

Department of Anesthesiology is well equipped with all updated equipment like workstations, ventilators, nerve stimulators, mannequins and recent airway devices. Department is having good library with adequate number of recent edition books. Department is having adequate competent staff providing services both inside and outside operation theater.

    Clinical Activities

    • UG Teaching for II nd and III rd year MBBS students
    • Training of airway management and CPR for internes, Medical Officers and residents during their awareness programme.
    • To teach and train basic life support for paramedical staff and nurses of operation theatre

    Future Plans

    1. To start PG courses
    2. To provide training of advanced cardiac life support for UG and PG students
    3. To conduct CME for UG and PG students in emergency and critical care medicine.
